All Modules are approved by the Maryland Board of Physical Therapy Examiners for .8 CEU hours. The fee for each Module is $300, which includes all course materials.
Module 1: Low Back and Neck – Basic
Module 1: Low Back and Neck – Basic
The course participants will explore a Systems Theory based philosophy of patient care. The course will cover the basic Myofascial Mapping technique, treating the diaphragms using Advanced Strain Counterstrain and Myofascial Release. Participants will learn the manual visceral technique to reduce the physiology of shock, basic Myofascial Release techniques for the pelvis, sacrum and spine and basic Myofascial Release technique for the cranio-cervical junction. The course will also teach basic Strain Counterstrain techniques for the pelvis, sacrum and lumbar spine.
Module 2: Low Back and Neck- Intermediate
Module 2: Low Back and Neck- Intermediate
The course participants will explore a Systems Theory based philosophy of patient care. The course will cover the Multiplane Myofascial Mapping technique, 5 Point Diagnostic technique, and the Inhibition and Nullification techniques. Participants will learn manual techniques for the treatment of bone bruises, soft tissue inflammation, and circulatory shock. The course will also include the Jones 7 Point Sacral Release technique and basic myofascial release techniques for cranial dura.

Module 3: Sacrum – Basic
The course participants will review the information taught in Modules 1 and 2. The participants will learn the Manual treatment for Physical Trauma Induced Shock, Sacral Plexus, and Compression Syndromes. The course will include Muscle Energy Techniques for Pelvis and Sacrum and Visceral Treatment for Related Pelvis and Sacral Organs
Module 4: Sacrum – Intermediate
Module 4: Sacrum – Intermediate
The course will review the information taught in Modules 1, 2 and 3 including: myofascial mapping, manual treatment for bone, manual treatment for inflamed soft tissue, basic muscle energy technique, and manual treatment for immune deficiency. The participants will learn intermediate sacral muscle energy technique and advanced strain counterstrain (ASCS) for spinal discs. The course will include ASCS for pelvic circulation, cranial circulation, for eyes, and SCS for cervical spine.

Module 5: Manual Therapy for Nerve Tissue
The course participants will review the information taught in Modules 1-4. The participants will learn the Muscle Energy Technique for the spine: Type 1’s and 2’s. The course will include the Myofascial Release technique to reset nerve tissue, treat adverse mechanical neural tension for the spine, plexi, cranial nerves, upper and lower extremity sensory and motor nerves, and pelvis.

Module 6: Manual Treatment of Upper and Lower Extremity Compression Syndromes
The course participants will learn the conditions for the use of compression syndromes; the contraindications for the use of compression syndromes; the techniques that should be used before and after performing compression syndromes; and how to perform compression syndromes for the upper and lower extremity.

Module 7: Manual Treatment of the Cranium, Level 1
The course participants will learn the appropriate preparation work to be performed prior to treatment of the cranial joints and bones; mobilization of the temporo-mandibular joint and the spheno-basilar joint; mobilization of the basic cranial bones; mobilization of the cranial dura on multiple planes; and treatment for ensuring blood flow in and out of the cranium.

The course will review the information taught in Module 7. The participants will learn the appropriate preparation work to be performed prior to treatment of the cranial joints and bones; mobilization of the temporo-mandibular joint and the spheno-basilar joint; mobilization of the basic cranial bones; mobilization of the cranial dura on multiple planes; and treatment for ensuring blood flow in and out of the cranium; mobilization of the key bones involved in the cranial facial gear mechanism; performing the neuro-fascial releases for the cranium; performing the compression syndrome techniques for the cranium.

Module 9: Manual Therapy for Cardiac
The course participants will learn the appropriate indications and contraindications for performing manual therapy on the cardiac area; the appropriate preparation work to perform prior to cardiac work. Participants will learn how to treat the appropriate hard frame structures surrounding the heart and how to perform the Advanced Straincounterstrain techniques for the heart and surrounding organs. The course will include performing the compression syndromes for the heart and surrounding organs and treating the biomechanics of the heart and surrounding and affiliated structures.

Module 10: Manual Therapy for Treatment of Tissue Specific Fascial Mobility
The course participants will learn the philosophy of tissue specific fascial mobilities and how to find and treat tissue specific fascial mobilities in the nervous, cardiopulmonary, hard frame, vascular, lymphatic and visceral systems. The course will include pre and post manual therapy needed when treating tissue specific fascial mobilities and indications and contraindications.

Module 11: Intermediate Fascial Diagnostics
The course will review the information taught in Modules 1-10. The participants will learn the manual treatment for diaphragm fascial tissue, the blueprints for diaphragm fascial tissue, spinal shock, pelvic trauma, and the manual treatment to reset the fascial tissue of the spinal cord and spinal discs.

The course will review the information taught in Module 2. The participants will learn manual forehead diagnostics, the cavity LPS diagnostic technique and the spinal decompression blueprint.

Module 13: Advanced Muscle Energy and Biomechanics
The course participants will learn the mechanics, assessment and treatment of the ascended and descended sacrum, spinal shears, Chiari Malformation, adverse mechanical dural tension, and adverse mechanical peripheral nerve tension.
Module 14: Manual Therapy Protocols
Module 14: Manual Therapy Protocols
The course participants will learn the manual therapy treatment protocols for, migraine headaches and post-concussion syndrome. Participants will also learn manual therapy treatment protocols for, Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome, dysautonomia, systemic inflammation, fibromyalgia, spinal fusion and laminectomy.
